Overview

Caterpillar is the world's largest construction equipment manufacturer, known for top-quality products and exceptional service. They lead in construction, mining equipment, engines, turbines, and locomotives. Operating globally through websites and apps, Caterpillar is a trusted name in online shopping. To enhance the mobile shopping experience and embrace the mobile commerce trend, Caterpillar created a native app, prioritizing continuous growth and innovation.

Challenge

I was hired to design a mobile app for retail customers with small fleets that could allow them to purchase equipment parts while on the go or at a job site.
